THE WINE

Filament Vineyard was planted in 2001, high on the east-facing flank of the “Walnut Hill” section of the Eola-Amity Hills AVA.  In 2017 our friend Drew Voit (Harper Voit wines) invited us and Jerry Murray (Project M wines) to share a single lot of Pinot noir from Filament, one of his favorite vineyards.  The lot was a mix of four clones, split three ways, and each of us made our own decisions from that point on, including the most critical decision about when to pick.  We learned a lot from each other in the process. 100 cases produced.
