95 DECANTER “A gorgeous reductive intensity as the aromatics build towards smoky grilled lemon wedges, savoury verbena, and taut, salty oyster brine. The palate shows a weight and texture offering a compelling balance between richness of preserved lemons and a lightened airy touch of lemon grass, beebalm, and a trailing towards its smoky, flinty minerality, crushed sea shells abound the finish.”

Winemaker Notes
At 24 years of age Justice Vineyard has slowly settled into a comfortable place in our portfolio, the place where volcanic clay meets marine sediments to produce wines of energy, tension, and almost an inherent nervous quality in their youth. It takes time for the flinty reduction on the nose to resolve, but when it does, aromas and flavors of preserved lemon, tarragon, and chervil distinguish this wine in our portfolio as mirror to the divergent soils where it is planted.
